Big Piney Book Club Meets

Third Tuesdays of the month

7 pm

It's that time of year again. Fight cabin fever and get out of the house to meet new friends and discuss interesting books. The book club is open to anyone at any time. Copies of the books may be picked up at the front desk.

Tuesday, March 16th - Ella Minnow Pea: A Novel in Letters by Mark Dunn. A linguistically unusual novel about the dangers of authoritarianism.

Tuesday, April 20th - The Glass Castle: A Memoir by Jeannette Walls. A NY Times bestseller about one woman's childhood hardship and triumph against odds.

Tuesday, May 18th - The Puzzle King by Betsy Carter. Immigrant history is brought to life in this fictional tale of character and persistence.

The Sublette County Library Board will hold its next board meeting on Thursday, March 25th at 10 am in the board meeting room at the main library in Pinedale. Meetings are open to the public. View minutes from previous meetings here.

Story Hour on Thursdays

Every Thursday during the school year the Big Piney Branch Library hosts Story Hour for preschool children. A variety of visitors come throughout the school year to entertain and teach the children. The library staff also prepares special meals a few times a year to celebrate holidays, and crafts are always part of the Story Hour adventure. Story Hour for ages 0-5 is every Thursday at 10:30am.
