You can begin placing an ILL request by first searching for your desired item through the library catalog and expanding your search to include "All WYLD Libraries". Choose the "Request" button in the left sidebar and have your library card and PIN ready.

As a general rule, newly purchased items are not loaned by other libraries. Other expensive or easily damaged items such as music CDs or video and DVDs may have restrictions as well. If there is an item that you would like to borrow yet is unavailable through ILL, please contact us to recommend the item for purchase by the Sublette County Library.

After placement of an ILL, it normally takes seven to 10 days for the item to arrive at the Sublette County Library. Some ILL requests may be delayed if the item was checked out by a patron at the lending library, or if the lending library is out of state. Your patience is appreciated in such matters.

You will receive a phone call from us informing you that the item has arrived. Feel free to contact us at any time regarding the status of your Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request.

The general fee for shipment of materials is $2.00. Occasionally there are additional fees that originate from the lending library. You will be notified by phone in such cases. Payment of the fee is required when you pick up the item at the Front Desk.

Due dates are determined by the lending library. In most cases, the item is renewable. However, many out-of-state lending libraries do not allow renewals.
