The Pinedale Library now houses a copy of the Green River Drift Trail Traditional Cultural Property National Register of Historic Places nomination for public viewing.
The National Register of Historic Places is the official list of the Nation's historic places worthy of preservation. The Green River Drift has been nominated as a Historic Place because of its role in the development of ranching in the Upper Green River Valley. Used as a corridor to move cattle from lower valleys to mountain pastures, it is almost 70 miles long and has been in use for 115 years.
