Buckaroo Book Award

The Buckaroo Book Award: Grades K-3

 

The Buckaroo Book AwardThe Buckaroo Book Award allows for children in Wyoming grades K-3 to choose favorite books they have read or listened to. Sponsored by the Wyoming Library Association and the Wyoming State Reading Council, the award strives to help young children become familiar with the qualities of good books and to recognize popular authors.

 

 

Rules:

·   Each participating child will vote for only one book.

·   Participants must have read or listened to at least 3 books in order to vote.

·   Voting will take place during late February or early March. Results are due by March 15.

The Caldecott Medal The Caldecott Medal was created to honor the nineteenth-century English illustrator Randolph Caldecott.
