Story Time: Start your child on the road to reading!
Tuesdays at 10 am & Thursdays at 10:30 am
All preschool children and their caregivers are invited to attend this popular library event featuring finger plays, music, crafts and of course stories. Free and open to the public.

Pinedale Library Afterschool Youth (PLAY)
With markers, crayons, and scissors in hand a group of Pinedale kids huddle in the library around a table busily cutting and creating their own "altered" books, haunted houses, silly turkeys and other crafts. Some days they walk in with the aroma of pop corn flooding the library for an afternoon movie.
Every day in the United States, as many as 15 million children are unattended after school. Here in Pinedale, the Sublette County Library has taken great steps to initiate an after school program on Mondays from 3 to 5 pm. Our goals are:
· to continue to introduce youth to library resources,
· provide ongoing relationships with caring adults,
· create an environment that strengthens social skills and
· character, and offer fun and creative activities during
out of school time.

We would like to remind parents that there are rules that we need to follow in order to have a safe and well run afterschool program. Please take time to review these rules with your child.
- Observe common courtesy and be respectful of others. Use appropriate language.
- Share materials and equipment. Be respectful of other people's property.
A big thank you to the parents who often join in the activities with the kids, and we are looking forward to more fun as the year continues.
The PLAY kids have been enjoying old fashioned fun on Game Day and making their own snacks.
The kids created nature journals on a warm day last spring.
